As the HR Director at TOP, Lydea spearheads and drives HR strategies and employee engagement programmes to support the organisation’s growth. In addition to developing corporate plans and overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions such as talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training and development, Lydea also monitors and stays up-to-date with local employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
From conceptualisation to implementation of policies, Lydea handles them from end-to-end, and evaluates their effectiveness through analysis of data and reports. Since her appointment, Lydea has successfully introduced various employee engagement and retention strategies, as well as initiated cross-country, company-wide sustainability efforts like crisis relief initiatives and donation and distribution of medical equipment amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Having worked in various countries and held diverse roles in business development, sales, and recruitment, Lydea has proven herself to be highly adaptable, an innovative thinker, and one who does not stop learning. She demonstrates leadership qualities with her effective communications skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills. Lydea holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the Laurentian University in Canada.
